Hadassah Children's Hospital is at the forefront of pediatric medical treatment.
Both the Ein Kerem and Mt. Scopus campuses house a Pediatric Ward. Additionally, both centers have maternity wards and neonatal intensive care units. Our physicians specialize in various fields of pediatric medicine. Our various units work in conjunction with the Department of Pediatric Surgery, one of the leading pediatric surgical departments in the world.
The Hadassah Children's Hospital runs a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), which treats children suffering from high-risk injuries. The PICU also has an anesthesiology team whose anesthesiologists specialize in treating children. Our department uses the most advanced medical equipment available to treat our young patients.
Having a sick child is never easy.
Here at Hadassah, we understand your concerns. Our medical staff is here to assist you and answer any questions you may have during your stay. Parents, this site is for you.
We have prepared information that we hope will be useful as you prepare for your stay here at the hospital. At the bottom of this page you will find links to information about hospitalization, Hadassah School, diseases (both short term and chronic), infections and immunization, surgery, medication and drugs, and much more.
In addition to the medical services Hadassah provides, we've also opened a special school for our patients. The school is run by a teaching staff, assisted by student and national service volunteers (our medical clowns are also involved with the school). The school provides an environment of support for your child and aside from formal classes, also run a number of different extra-curricular activities such as music class, cooking class, nature club and more.
Most treatments are performed in ambulatory service clinics or units. Some of the treatment methods do not require prolonged hospitalization.
